Carol Johnson (BHSAI Int SM Reg)
Carol Johnson (BHSAI Int SM Reg) has been living and working with horses for over 35 years and her expertise and years of experience is what makes Strumpshaw Riding Centre so successful and a popular choice for so many. Carol is herself an accomplished rider and has qualified many times for National Championships in showing and dressage. Her own home-bred horses have qualified for Royal International Horse Show and Horse of the Year Show on several occasions. In addition to this Carol is a qualified McTimoney-Corley Spinal Therapist and Equine Sports Massage Therapist having trained with Mary Bromiley (Physiotherapist to the NZL Event Team).
Beth Furr
Beth Furr is currently working towards her NVQ Level 3 in Horse Care and is Head Groom. A friendly and welcoming face on the yard she is always available to lend a helping hand. An accomplished young rider herself Beth is now using her skills and expertise to teach the younger children coming for lessons.
A team of knowledgeable part time staff and friendly volunteers are on hand to assist in horse welfare and general yard duties all helping to maintain the high standards that are delivered at Strumpshaw Riding Centre.
